Secret of the barramundi?
Secret of the tide?
Secret of the water?
Why can't you catch a barramundi at your favorite timing of the tide?

I have caught more than 820 sea barramundis on lure by land based on our urban shallows since 2010 as of December 2013.
It takes 3 - 20 minutes to get to my fishing spots from my place by my scooter.
I fish the sea barramundi at the same places every time.
Therefore, my fishing results are very good data for searching the behavior of a sea barramundi on our urban shallows.

The best tide?

First, Tide Table, Tide Times, Tide Chart are Tide Calendar are estimated data.
Every tide has more or less different condition on the estimated condition.
That's very, very important for catching sea barramundi on our urban shallows.

Someone said that the big tide should be very good for catching a barramundi.
But he couldn't catch a barramundi every big tide.

Someone said that the low tide should be very good for catching a barramundi.
But he couldn't catch a barramundi every low tide.

The things to remember:
  • The best tide shifts with the best fishing point every hour.
  • Barramundi won't take bait fish when the water current is not moving.
  • Barramundi can know the true tide condition.
  • Barramundi will take bait fish more lively when the currents become more active than usual.
  • Barramundi won't take bait fish when the currents become slower than usual.
Barramundi will react to a sudden and unexpected change of the currents.

It is thought that it depends on the body size of barramundi.
