Shimano Borderless 420M-T
Rockcod #312
Bluesalmon #5
Surecatch Snap Bean SB65F
SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL

Shimano Borderless 420M-T.
Free style & high spec rod.
All titanium frame Sic guide
CI4 reel seat
Separate grip
Spiral X construction
It was acquired at last.

To tell the truth, I failed to obtain Shimano Borderless 380M-T in Japan.

My 420M-T is longer than 380M-T.
420cm long!
Lure's castability is ???
Of course, I got more distance than usual.

Once fish were hooked, they can't escape from the hook because 420cm long rod has an excellent flexibility.

I love to use a lure-clip because I'm lazy.

I hooked a nice sized fish this morning but I couldn't land her up.
The lure-clip was straightened by that fish.

I know that I shouldn't use a lure-clip for your fishing.
But I love to use it.
Because I'm lazy. v(*'-^*)-☆

I used to use a 'NORMAN LURES' clip' for my land based barramundi fishing.

66cm, 64cm, 67cm and 74cm barramundis were caught by using a 'NORMAN LURES' clip'.
It's a very tough and strong lure-clip.
I think that it's very strong enough for catching a metery barramundi.

Sunday morning
Barramundi #853
SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL

I went fishing this morning.
Luckily, the sea hasn't been very rough yet.
In addition, very bad decomposed plants haven't arrived at this point yet.

I hooked a very nice sized barramundi but couldn't land her up.
The lure clip was straightened by that fish.
It's a very nice sign.
We'll have a great April for catching many barramundis on our shallows.

I went to the other rock.
There were many decompose plants on the shallow.
Normally barramundi wouldn't come to our shallows under the condition like this.
I found a patch without those decomposed plants.

The sea was very rough again.
So I went fishing to the urban creek.
I don't like this point very much.

Friday afternoon
72cm Urban barramundi
by local young angler
Mr. Max Stretton

I thought that the sea was very rough around Darwin on Friday.
I received an e-mail from a local young angler at Friday night as follows,

 I have a Stradic FJ 2500
Around 6pm
On 10lb leader and the lure: thready buster red/white
Location: secret ahahah

☆⌒(*^-゚)v Thanks!! Max.

Max is 17 years old.
He caught a very nice 72cm urban barramundi before the rain on Friday afternoon.
The tide was coming in.
He knew the good timing.
Probably he met the short fish-window at that point.

Sunday morning
Mangrovejack #42
KO TACKLE TAIL BAITZ

I got up early morning.
I heard the very wavy sea.
My fishing fields should be very rough again.

I went to an urban creek.
There were many leaves and branches that have decomposed on the surface of the water.
I thought that barramundi wouldn't take lures.
By the way, I was given the following lure by my very good friend, Chonga yesterday.
So I cast it along the mangroves and retrieved with stop and go.

As a result,

I saw many rocks and torrential gravels on the beach.
That's very good sign for our fishing.

1 Mar 2014

Saturday night
Barramundi #849-851
SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL

Today's tides were too big to catch many barramundis on our shallows.
Even worse, the sea was very wavy again.

00:14am
2.15m Good
05:55am
6.94m Good
12:26pm
1.03m Too low
18:45pm
7.72m Too high

I went fishing to an urban creek tonight.
The tide was too high and so the creek flowed over its banks everywhere.
Barramundis scattered all around???
They wouldn't come to our shallows because many leaves, branches and trees that have decomposed came flocking from the land.
Only small barramundis were staying on our shallows.

I used ZEREK Live shrimp first but barramundi wouldn't take it in the dark.
And then I used SQUIDGY PRO MONGREL.
I retrieved it with 'stop and go'.

There should be a small school of these following barramundis.
